F.A.Q. - Frequently Asked Questions

For booking issues on the band outside of Germany, here are several aspects to your attention:

TIME SCHEDULE FOR BOOKINGs: Please note for the ‘premium line-up of musicians’* of the Ballroom Kings we need approx. nine months prior to your event, for planning issues. (Only four months for understudies.)

FEE: In general it’s 400 EUR per person outside of Germany, plus accommodation, catering on the day of event and travelling expenses.
Calculation example: six Ballroom Kings, plus the trio of Sievert-Strauss-Stelzer (1 extra person – as two are w/Ballroom Kings), that’s a total of seven people on two acts, a net fee of almost EUR 3k, plus above expenses. That’s 2 x 60 min show time.

ACCOMODATION: We are flexible - for hotel as well as Army compound, Family Member Guest housing or other.

YOUR GOV. CONTRACTUAL REQUIREMENTS: a) In 2006, following an invitation from the mayor of Jackson, Tennessee, to perform at a local festival, the band leader received funding from the Berlin Senate, enabling the band to travel officially to the United States. b) In order of and cooperation with the U.S. Embassy Berlin the band leader established a show in 2019 with the U.S. Air Force Europe Band, supported by Long John and his Ballroom Kings.
